# Vision & Philosophy

Since DEX is the most basic infrastructure of a chain, it becomes inconvenient in all aspects when it does not function properly. Monad provides an environment optimized for traders, offering extremely fast block time, high transaction capacity per block, and parallel execution.

However, even if the chain is optimized, the delay experienced by end users ultimately remains unchanged if the dapp does not provide the best UX. Pinot provides an optimized UX suitable for super-fast chains and enables users to experience the speed of fast chains firsthand.

Through market making for long tail assets that are hard for CLOB DEX, and routed swaps that aggregate all DEXes' liquidity to enable buying and selling with arbitrary tokens, Pinot establishes itself as a complementary core protocol that provides momentum to Monad protocols.<br>
